This is the first part of the Indian TV series Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat. It is also a love triangle story about two people - Sameer and Suman - who have been in love with each other from childhood. This show has been written by famous scriptwriter Kunal Khemu and directed by Sudha Chandran. The idea of Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, according to Sudha, was suggested by a psychologist to her when she expressed her desire to have a love story onscreen that could be true, in which both protagonists are equal in status and not just a girl following a guy. It starts with Sameer and Suman marrying each other and then the story moves ahead and tell us about the love triangle that happens between their best friends. Sameer believes that, “The love you have for your wife cannot be compared to any other love”. However, he realizes that this is not true when he starts to fall in love with another girl - Sugandha. Suman also has a sweet friendship with Ritwik though she never expresses her feelings for him. The first episode of this show ends on a cliffhanger as Sugandha breaks Sameer’s heart by telling him exactly what she feels about him. Five years later, Sameer is married to Suman and Sugandha's marriage with Ritwik is on the rocks. In an interview, Sudha Chandran says, "In this show we have tried to present a realistic picture of what happens after a long time of being together. The other characters also have their own lives and problems as well." After a few years, Sameer still remembers his foolish love for Sugandha and he keeps regretting that he never told her how much he loved her. For his promotion as a lawyer, Sameer has to go to two places - Mumbai and Delhi. Sameer lives in Delhi with Suman and Sugandha lives in Mumbai with Ritwik. He meets Sugandha again when she comes to Delhi to meet the Birla family about her designs. Sameer is confused whether he should tell Sugandha how much he loves her or not, but when he meets her again, he realizes that this time it is too late. Sameer still loves her but she is already committed to Ritwik's marriage so she rejects him forcefully. When Ritwik comes back from London after two years, his marriage gets fixed with someone else because Sugandha thinks she cannot marry someone who does not respect their relationship. After the marriage, Sameer and Sugandha meet and share a hug and Sameer realizes that this is exactly what he wanted. He then says how happy he is that things have worked out well for them. Sugandha then confesses that she still loves him and wants to be with him but she cannot because of her marriage commitment. She tells him that he should ask Ritwik for their divorce so they can get married. Unexpectedly, Sugandha dies in the blame of a truck while she was crossing the road with Sameer. The show was released on 5 July 2013 on Colors TV channel in India. It has become an instant hit due to its original storyline. cfa1e77820
